World Builder

November 21, 2009

“A strange man builds a world using holographic tools for the woman he loves.

This award winning short was created by filmmaker Bruce Branit, widely known as the co-creator of ’405′. World Builder was shot in a single day followed by about 2 years of post production. Branit is the owner of Branit VFX based in Kansas City.”

Creative look at how we might interface with technology.

Bathtub IV

April 29, 2009

Found this awhile back but did know how to post Vimeo format. Keith Loutit style is really interesting. I think that the narrow depth of field is what really sets this style apart from others I’ve seen and makes it look like this was filmed with minature models and not like real subjects.
